This agreeable vintage Timex dress watch has a stunning silver dial. The stainless steel case back and the gold plated case are of very good condition and the highly domed acrylic crystal gives the watch an overall warmth and softness.
This watch is in original condition and it has signs of wear commensurate with its age. The gold plated case has few minor signs of wear and is in overall excellent condition for its age. Unfortunately there is a crack at the edge of the crystal close to 2 o' clock which is noticeable with the naked eye but doesn't detract much from the charm of this vintage piece.
Most importantly the original silver dial is in very good condition and so are the applied numerals at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 o clock as well as the baton markers and all three gold hands.
This watch has a manual movement which winds and sets well. It has a beat of 18,000 A/h and gains approx. 3 minutes per day.
The watch comes fitted on an aftermarket faux leather strap in unused condition with a matching gold coloured buckle.
This is a vintage watch and while it has passed our testing and does keep time and has a good power reserve, it must be taken into account that it is a vintage watch priced for the mid market and its accuracy is not to be compared to modern quartz watches.
This watch comes in a zipped, padded travel case and a certificate of authenticity from Arlington watches.
