This is a genuine Royal Navy issued CWC (Cabot Watch Company) military watch from 1987 with a new battery and a green NATO strap. This very watch was issued to a serving member of the Royal Navy (as per the markings on the case back), and as such it has minor evidence of previous use. However, it is still in great condition and the tritium luminescence has a very nice aged ivory/yellow patina to it. The stainless-steel case has a brushed finish. “But it’s a quartz?!” Yes, we do love the charm and soul of mechanical movements, but on the battlefield we are more concerned about reliability, aren’t we?
