The gold dial is impeccable and so is the hands, the Omega logo and the applied baton hour markers. A cool thing about this watch is that it has Tritium luminescent dots by each hour marker, as denoted by the letter T’s on each side of the words ‘Swiss made’ at 6 o clock. Tritium is a radioactive substance which breaks down over time so they won’t glow much in the dark after 40 years. But as Tritium luminescence ages it turns into a yellowish tone which appreciated by collectors. This watch has all twelve original tritium dots present.
This watch is a document of time because it has an engraving on the backside congratulating W.H Crozier for 25 years in service at NEEB Electricity Supply.
This watch comes in a black presentation box and is fitted on a new and fresh genuine alligator embossed leather aftermarket black strap.
It comes with a certificate of authenticity and one year warranty from Arlington watches.
