Delivery & Returns
Orders are generally dispatched within 2-3 business days from receipt of payment which allows us time to run the watch through our quality control process. If you need it sooner than that, let us know and we can work with you.
All watches undergo a final quality control prior to shipping and are packaged thoroughly to avoid damage during transport. Depending on availability and as stated on each product description, the watch is packaged either in its original box, or an aftermarket generic gift box. The watch box is then packed in protective void fill material and packaged together with the documents and any accessories in an outer unmarked shipping carton box.
To reduce our environmental impact as a company, we use natural wood wool as shock-absorbing void fill material when packing our watches for shipment. The wood wool is kiln-dried and comes from the excess pine and spruce from managed forests, where in order to maintain the health of the forest they perform the essential process of thinning it. Depending on availability we may use biodegradable GMO-free corn starch packing peanuts as an alternative to the wood wool.
Your purchase is insured whilst in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you do not receive the goods in person (i.e. for gift orders or where an item has been signed for by a concierge/reception desk) then the person who signs for the package confirms receipt and is accountable for the package.

Once you have placed your order, we will send you an email to confirm that we have received it.
Any shortages or damages must be reported to Arlington Watches within 24 hours or next working day from the delivery date.
For Paypal orders we ship only to Paypal verified delivery addresses. We ship Worldwide only to the billing address of the customer.
Collection in person is possible by appointment only.
All orders will be dispatched with DHL Express from our warehouse in either Gothenburg, Sweden or London, United Kingdom.
The cost of shipping will be automatically calculated when checking out an order. Once you have filled out your delivery address, you will get a chance to review the cost of shipping before completing the order.

Additional PayPal payment restrictions may apply to international locales in addition to those referenced above.
Additional costs, such as customs, import duties, VAT, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or the shipping costs. These charges are the buyer’s sole responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to initiating a transaction.
Please be aware that we must declare the amount that you paid for your watch on the international invoice included with the shipment. We cannot declare the watch as a gift or at a lower value.
For PayPal purchases, as per PayPal requirements we can only ship your order to the address approved by PayPal.
In line with current EU legislation Arlington Watches provide a cooling off period (not a try before you buy period) and a right to cancel your order should you decide not to complete the transaction. The cooling off period begins the day after your goods are received and ends 14 working days later. The regulations require the customer to contact us in writing to notify us of the intent to cancel/return the goods.
For orders outside the EU goods are returnable, however you must notify us of your intention to return the goods within 7 days of receipt and the goods must be received back at Arlington Watches within 14 days of your notification. You will be responsible for the costs of any return shipping. Shipping costs of £25 will be deducted from your original purchase and Arlington Watches will not be liable for any duties or fluctuations in currency.
We cannot accept returns/cancellations if we have not been notified in writing before this period has lapsed. Email is an acceptable way to notify us and we will confirm that we have received such communication. If an order is cancelled within this cooling off period we would expect the goods to be returned to us within 14 days before we process any refund or exchange. We do not refund carriage costs. We also expect goods to be returned in the same condition it was sold with the original packaging and contents and must not be used in a way that constitutes acceptance by the customer.
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Arlington Watches at your own cost. The goods must be only be returned after the returns notification has been confirmed by is and to the address provided by us in the response to your return notification. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. The item must be in its original, undamaged packaging and must not have been used.
We will send you instructions for returning your item including the address it should be returned to and ask that you follow the instructions to return the item to us. Once the item arrives back at our warehouse, it will be checked, and, provided it has been received in an ‘as sold’ condition, we will issue a refund for the purchase price and the delivery charge.
Until you are certain that you will keep the watch, do not wear it, try it on or use it in any way. A watch worn even one time for a short period will show signs of wear to both the strap and case, and cannot be accepted for return. Remember, do not wear, or try on your watch until you decide to keep your watch to preserve your right to return the watch.
All watches and other items must be returned with their original packaging in and undamaged condition. This policy applies to boxes, papers, warranty and owner’s manuals and any tools or accessories. If any of these items are missing, damaged or modified, the return cannot be accepted and the package will be returned to you.
When the item arrives at our warehouse if it is not in resale-able condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount. This does not affect your statutory rights.
