Omega made the Officer model on request for the Swedish military during the Second World War. This watch has a serial number dating it to 1944. The case back says "Antimagnetic", "Waterproof" and "Shock Protected" in Swedish.
The case is marked 193.
This watch is in very good condition for its age with a beautiful original dial. There is a small dent in the dial which is hard to capture in photos. It is noticeable with the naked eye but not distracting. The dial has patina and so do the beautiful syringe shaped hands which are intact.
The stainless steel case has signs of use but no major dinks or scratches.
This watch is very old and while it has passed testing and does keep time and has a good power reserve, it must be taken into account that it is a vintage watch and its performance is not to be compared to modern quartz watches.
This watch comes in a high-quality zipped and padded travel case from Beco-Technic and a certificate of authenticity from Arlington watches.
