A vintage classic steel watch in excellent condition for its age. The watch was manufactured in 1974 and the stainless steel case has only very minor, hardly noticeable signs of use. The crystal is virtually scratch free. The white/silver dial is perfect and so are all three hands. The applied baton markers show very subtle patina.
The luminescent dots are still all there at 1,2,4, 5, 7,8,9 and 10 o' clock (the other four were never there in the first place) and they have turned into a yellowish tone perfectly matching the luminescence on the hour and minute hands. This contributes to the vintage feel of this otherwise minty piece. It should be mentioned that they 40 years later glow only faintly in the dark.
The crown is original and bears the Omega logo. The caseback has the Omega logo and is of screw-down design.
It comes fitted on a new padded black calf leather strap.
This watch is over 40 years old and while it has passed our testing and does keep time and has a good power reserve, it must be taken into account that it is a vintage watch and its performance is not to be compared to modern quartz watches.
This watch comes in a high-quality zipped and padded travel case from Beco-Technic and a certificate of authenticity from Arlington watches.
