This clean vintage Omega watch has a timeless style which means it is wearable for almost any occasion. It's your new everyday favourite that also works on more formal occasions.
The case which is made out of stainless steel is in good condition with only minor signs of use. The case back is of screw-down design and is signed Omega. The crown is original and is signed with the Omega logo.
The silver dial is stunning and so is the silver hands with black and tritium inserts. The applied baton markers and the date wheel are all clean and crisp.
The automatic movement is calibre 1012 which hacks (the second hands stops in the setting position), has a quick-set function for the date and is obviously self-winding. The movement beats 28,800 times per hour which renders a very smooth sweep of the second hand. The watch has an accuracy of approx. 23 seconds per 24 hours which should be considered acceptable for a mechanical watch of this age. The serial number of the movement tells us this watch was manufactured in 1974.
The crystal is in good condition with no noticeable scratches except a small scuff at the edge of the crystal at 3 o' clock which can be seen upon close inspection.
The watch comes with the original Omega stainless steel buckle and pin and is fitted on a brand new black padded genuine leather strap of high quality.
This watch comes in an original vintage Omega watch box which is consistent with the age of the watch, however we cannot guarantee that it is the same box that the watch was originally bought with.
This watch is over 40 years old and while it has passed our testing and does keep time and has a good power reserve, it must be taken into account that it is a vintage watch and its accuracy is not to be compared to modern quartz watches.
This watch comes with a certificate of authenticity and one year warranty from Arlington watches.
