Doxa is a brand of Swiss watches maybe best known for their brightly coloured diving watches, appreciated by collectors and considerably more expensive than dress watches of the same brand.
Vintage dress watches by Doxa are still affordable but expected to go up in value as they are gaining momentum among the community of collectors and hence getting increasingly hard to find.
This old Doxa has a beautiful case shape. It is chrome plated with a stainless steel screw-down case back. The case sides are pretty beat up. The dial has obvious signs of age. That said, it is a good wearer with ample case size and weight, good balance on your wrist and a clean design.
The movement is clean and running strong with a good power reserve, loosing about 1-2 minutes per day. This is a vintage watch and while it has passed our testing, it must be taken into account that it is a vintage watch and its accuracy is not to be compared to modern quartz watches.
This watch comes fitted on a black leather strap from Hirsch and comes in a high-quality German made travel case, certificate of authenticity and one year warranty from Arlington watches.
